Sallywags is a West London pet food & care service. They stock an assortment of fresh foods such as raw meats, bones, veg and metabolism-friendly minerals. Many informed vets and breeders share their view that cooking foods break down all the important proteins and amino acids in raw meat, dramatically reducing its nutritional benefits and can lead to countless long-term health issues. Being a busy pet grooming salon, they see many of their customer’s dogs on regular intervals. During the grooming process They can easily spot anything unusual about the pets coat or skin. They believe that many of the conditions we see are linked to poor nutrition. For this reason, all their products have been carefully selected to ensure that we can provide the best food and treats for cherished pets.
The Challange...
The merchant had been with their existing payment service provide for taking card payments by machine for may years. Once a card machine is integrated into the mainframe of a business it very rarely gets reviewed for competitiveness. This is not only transaction fees but settlement terms and bank charges. Also the devices tend to be older and clunky with limited capabilities.

We wanted to add value to the merchant by recognising the value of increasing cash flow by reducing card processing fees. We assessed previous processing statements to find patterns and trends for card types along with usage. We were then able to assess the fees and then calculate significant cost savings with our solution. By presenting a working terms sheet, the merchant was able to review our solution in real time based on the usage to see how much more competitive we would be. We also upgrade the merchants older chip and pin payment device to the newer PAX A920 smart device.
